Circle time!
1. Welcome song--Here we are together (Children's songbook); "ducky" hand motions, point to each child with your hands as you sing all 8 names..."in our preschool class"
2. Weather--Ask a child to tell what the weather is today. Place card on board. Then hang weather shape.
3. Today's Date--"Today is Tuesday (they repeat), September 8th (they repeat). Yesterday was Monday (they repeat), tomorrow will be Wednesday (they repeat)." Sing to "Frere Jacques."
4. Days of the week song--"Addams Family" tune.
5. Months of year song--See video.
6. ABC Song--Alphafriends
7. Counting 1-20--in November when we start numbers.
8. Happy Birthday, if any.
